Who Are We?

We are Ed and Julia Fleetwood, founders and directors of LPA Angels: a family-run business with family values at its core. A Yorkshireman and a Londoner, we both came to the West Midlands to study at the University of Birmingham, after which we never went back, making our home here.

We have a combined twelve years of experience in the estate planning sector, during which time we have helped numerous individuals, couples and families with their estate planning, giving them the freedom to live life with the lasting peace of mind that their affairs are now in order.

Dealing with legal matters can be a serious, dry and complicated affair; but we like to think we break the mould by offering a friendly and accessible but professional service.

We understand that confronting what will happen when you die, or should you lose capacity, can be daunting which is why, rather than having you come to an impersonal office setting, we always come you so that you can discuss these matters in the comfort of your own home.

Our initial consultation is obligation free and always free of charge: the most we might ask for in exchange would be a cup of coffee, maybe a biscuit or two and the opportunity to meet any pets that you may have.

Clear and understandable communication is a vital factor of our business, and in a world of legal documentation that is all-too-often incomprehensible to the layman, we try to keep what we do as jargon free as possible. Where terminology can’t be avoided, we always ensure that you understand what that terminology means so that you can understand fully what is occurring throughout your estate planning journey.

Our pricing structure is deliberately simple and transparent, with no hidden accumulating extras; and our business model allows us to offer prices that you would find very hard to beat amongst any high-street solicitor.

We pride ourselves on maintaining a high level of efficiency and simplicity in all aspects of our service, which we always aim to deliver swiftly and with accurate and honest timescales.
